Glider
The Glider offers a truly exceptional gliding experience, almost orgasmic for surf enthusiasts. This model is designed to be surfed in a large format, even very large (up to 12 feet).
Testing a true Glider for the first time is often an unforgettable experience, forever marking your memory as a surfer. Everything in its design is optimized for gliding: a very parallel outline, low rails to increase flotation, a bottom shape inspired by Skip Frye (as described in the Tracker model), a slightly kicked, taut rocker at the nose to prevent it from nosediving and to facilitate paddling, and a single 7.5″ fin to minimize drag (the pintail already provides excellent hold, in addition to the board’s length).
The Glider is capable of catching tiny waves. If you want to surf alone and in peace, choose a small wave, paddle out, and let yourself be carried for 30 meters of effortless gliding. It’s the board for philosophers, offering access to surfing in another dimension.
For those concerned about size, it is possible to design a shorter version (between 8 and 9 feet). While slightly reduced, the gliding sensations of a 10′ – 12′ Glider are preserved, along with all the other shaping elements for as pure an experience as possible.
